Nadia Del Valle is a Weiss Institute Fellow. The Institute is an initiative of Say Yes to Education that helps expand the capacity of communities to support young people along the developmental pathway from early childhood to adult success. The Institute partners with communities to address inequities and boost economic development, and does so by marshaling the field’s best thinking, best practices and latest research, as well as by drawing on 30 years of Say Yes’ own experience, expertise and lessons learned.
Del Valle previously served as Senior Director of Operations and Programs for Say Yes’ chapter in Buffalo, NY. Her responsibilities in that role included oversight of expanded learning opportunities, including those offered by the Say Yes Buffalo partnership after school. Earlier, she was Executive Director of the Erie County Youth Bureau, the upstate New York agency responsible for providing funding to various youth development programs throughout the county.
In her current role, Del Valle is a member of the Say Yes National team that is helping serve as a resource to the Say Yes Guilford partnership on the implementation of academic and non-academic support services for students, as they seek to advance along the pathway to college or postsecondary readiness.
