Weiss Institute Guidebook

In spring 2017, Say Yes launched the Weiss Institute, an initiative in partnership with America’s Promise Alliance and its research arm, the Center for Promise at Boston University. Named for Say Yes founder George Weiss, the Institute provides technical assistance and other guidance to communities around the nation seeking to expand their capacity to scale and sustain postsecondary scholarship incentives — as well as a menu of related support services and new government structures.

It is in that spirit that we commissioned this guidebook: with the hope that it would be useful to communities that have set a goal of boosting college or other postsecondary attainment for their young people — and who are seeking to then create the systems and structures to make that vision not only a reality, but one that can endure over the long-term.
